{"id":312,"date":"2011-10-22T18:29:17","date_gmt":"2011-10-22T17:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mikebrookes.com\/blog\/?p=312"},"modified":"2022-11-12T20:48:03","modified_gmt":"2022-11-12T19:48:03","slug":"entitled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mikebrookes.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/entitled\/","title":{"rendered":"entitled"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tonight sees the final performance of this year&#8217;s tour of <em>Entitled<\/em>&nbsp; &#8211; my eleventh collaboration with old friends and long-term colleagues <a href=\"http:\/\/www.qtine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quarantine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;&#8230;devised with three technicians (Greg Akehurst, Chris Whitwood and Lisa Mattocks), three&nbsp;dancers (John Killroy, Joanne Fong and Fiona Wright), and a writer (Sonia Hughes), Entitled&nbsp;takes the form of a theatrical \u2018get-in\u2019 and a \u2018get-out\u2019: the usually hidden choreography of&nbsp;transforming a theatre from an empty space into a stage for a show, and back again&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This afternoon, while they will all have been making ready for this last night, I have been allowing myself to wander around the various fragments of the work&#8217;s process that still cover my desktop &#8211; and&nbsp;revisiting some of it&#8217;s questions.
