Tonight we gather for the final public episode and evening of On a clear day you can see for ever here in TNC in Barcelona.
After all the work of the last few days, the floor of this space is now covered with seemingly impossible amounts of plastic and rubber, fabric and foam, copper and glass… that have all spilled out of the familiar steel container and frame of this car since we begin to put it apart.
Our last physical task here, as we unfold the remaining thoughts and elements of this evolving five-day work, is to try to regather and sort this sea of material fragments – into three large metal refuse skips that have today been placed in the space – and send them back out into the city, and on, to the next phase of their persisting life cycle and journey…
This time, we have subtitled this last public episode of the work here Y al final no hay fin – or And in the end, no end…
